Actor and comedian Jamie Foxx is being sued by Jane Doe, who claimed that the actor sexually assaulted her back in 2015 in a New York City restaurant.
The official court documents that the New York Post acquired say, “a Jane Doe claims she noticed Jamie Foxx, 55, sitting at a nearby table at Catch NYC & Roof in August 2015. Around 1 a.m., her friend allegedly asked the the actor for a photo, to which he replied, Sure, baby anything for you.”
The trio then proceeded to take several photos, and they noticed Foxx was visibly intoxicated and continued to say, “Wow, you have that supermodel body, you smell so good.” He also said that she looks like Gabrielle Union.
The court documents also stated that “The woman alleges that Foxx proceeded to take her by the arm to the back area of the rooftop where he put his hands under her shirt and touched her breasts. Then Foxx slid his hands into her pants and put his fingers on and in her vagina and anus. The woman claims her friend came over and saw this taking place, so Foxx stopped.”
According to the plaintiff, “Foxx’s security guards, and several other people, saw what was happening but walked away although it was clear she was in distress.”
The plaintiff is now seeking a court trial by jury and compensatory for punitive damages. The court documents state, “The plaintiff is suing Foxx and the restaurant for compensatory and punitive damages, claiming she had to undergo medical treatment and advice, was unable to pursue her usual and regular activities, and will permanently be affected by the emotional distress she incurred as a result of the sexual assault, abuse and battery.”
